Calumet Farm’s homebred grade 1 winner Lexitonian , will be transferring to Calumet Farm for his third breeding season, after standing previously at Lane’s End Farm.
The son of Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) winner Speightstown was a multiple graded stakes winner and multiple grade 1 placed from 3 to 5, including wins in the Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap (G1) at Saratoga in 2021 and 2019 Chick Lang Stakes (G3) at Pimlico. He won or placed in five graded engagements throughout his career, ending with earnings of $718,682 in 21 starts, with a 5-2-2 record.
After retiring from the track with trainer Jack Sisterson, the stud joined the Lane’s End stallion roster for the 2022 season at $10,000 and $7,500 in 2023, where he covered a total of 136 mares.
Lexitonian joins a proven roster of graded stakes-producing sires at Calumet Farm, including Keen Ice , Oxbow , and Hightail .
